Here is the press release from the Label:

“This track has been in the 1980 schedule for nearly 2 years and it finally gets released with 4 great remixes. First up is Dan McKie’s Rework. Taking the best elements from the original and re-producing it with electro delight.
Next is 2′s Company. A hot up and coming DJ/Production duo based in London bring you a top class progressive house work out.
Harvey Schoolboy, from Australia is tipped for big things in 2010 and why not start the year with an electro house remix bomb.
Last but not least is Phillip O. Having won the Fedde Le Grand remix competition on CR2 this producer from South America is a definite house talent to watch.”

Winner of the Cr2 & Fedde Le Grand Remix competition!

I have just found out I’m one of the winners of the Cr2, Fedde Le Grand and Beatport remix competition!! First of all, thank you all for the massive support! wouldn’t have done without you.

Here is a fragment of the article with my interview on it:

“Phillip O was very excited to be chosen as a winner in this competition (see his initial reaction when he found out in his comment below), and formally commented that it “felt like a dream come true to have a track on one of the coolest labels in the world.”

Phillip started DJing about nine years ago at the age of 15, but only started producing in 2007.  He feels his years of solely DJing helped to forge his musical ear and he speculates that it has helped quite a bit in solidifying his accomplishments in production. Currently, Philip is working on more remixes and originals, as well as a new project with friend and colleague Jul Bricks from France.  He is also busy setting up his own agency called PR Music Management, which will help promote artists from all over the world with the goal of having them perform their music in Latin American countries. Phillip also says that with heart and hard work, if you’ve got the talent people will notice and support you.”

You can read the whole article and listen to the 4 winner’s tracks HERE

Once again, THANK YOU!

I’ve entered the Cr2 and Fedde Le Grand remix competition!

Together Cr2, a world renown  label, Fedde Le  Grand, a world renowned DJ/Producer and Beatport, the world’s leading store in terms of Dance Music, have joined forces and created this remix competition, and moi decided to give it a shot! You can listen to my entry clicking HERE

Fedde Le Grand needs no introduction, the Dutch producer  has been making massive tunes since his hit “Put Your Hands Up For Detroit” and it’d be an honor to have an official remix for such artist.

Cr2 is a Label from the UK where some of the most influential artists in the world have released their tracks in, for example, Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, Danny Howells, Deadmau5, Arno Cost, Kurd Maverick, Eddie Thoneick, 16 beat Lolitas, Jim Rivers, Dirty South, Steve Angello… The list goes on and on, check out the website and see for yourself.

If you have a Beatport account, please log in and click on the “Spin It” button, if you don’t have one, could you please create it? it means a lot.

THANK YOU!
