I decided to start my own label on Bandcamp, which is an an awesome place you can directly support artists (like me) by buying our music at a fair price and without intermediaries.
It is called Elk Musikk, and the first release is this 3 track EP I wrote during a time of tremendous sadness due to the loss of a cousin who was the same age as me. He died far away, in Australia, and I was left feeling empty and blue for a long time.
A long time has passed since. We move on, but we never forget. We smile and move forward. We dance in order to heal and process. Or, at least ‘I’ dance in order to heal and process.
